Garlic Mushroom Appetizer
12 button mushrooms washed
8 tablespoons of butter
1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
Cut mushrooms into quarters. Put butter in a saute pan on medium high. And mushrooms into pan, cut side facing down. Cook for approx 5 minutes until maillard reaction is achieved (deep brown color). Flip mushrooms to round side and cook for approx 5 more minutes until maillard reaction is achieved.
Mushrooms may be a stand alone appetizer or an amazing addition to steak or chicken.
